Aug 1, 2010: The 2010 ASPPP Auction has ended.

Sep 27, 2009: The Page and Panel Journal was awarded a Silver medal at StampExpo 400.

Aug 14, 2009: The USPS has shipped Commemorative Cancellations Wave 3 for 2009.

Aug 9, 2009: The Page and Panel Journal was awarded a Silver medal at STAMPSHOW 2009.

Jul 10, 2009: The final page in the Canon Postal Heritage 50th Anniversary Pages collection has been issued; the last page was the 50th Anniversary of the St. Lawrence Seaway, with a special 50th Anniversary cancellation on July 10.

Jun 30, 2009: The USPS has shipped Commemorative Cancellations Wave 2 for 2009.

Jun 25, 2009: ASPPP Board Member David G. Jones has resigned from the Board. David was nominated and elected to be a Board Member of the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada.

Feb 20, 2009: New officers were elected for 2009. Ron Walenciak (President), Bruce Menia (Vice President), John Ngai (Treasurer) and Gerald Blankenship (Secretary).

Dec 27, 2008: ASPPP founder Bud Scrantom passed away on December 7, 2008.

Jan 25, 2008: The USPS advised that the Celebrate issue Commemorative Panel was not shipped with the last wave of 2007; it will be included with the first shipment of 2008.

Nov 3, 2007: The USPS will NOT issue a Commemorative Panel or a Commemorative Collections page for any of the 60 State/Territory Flags coil strips that are going to be issued ten stamps at a time over the next three years because they are not "commemorative" stamps. There will be a Cancellations Page (Souvenir Page) for each group of ten stamps issued.
